Variable Message Signs

Dambach offers a wide range of Highways Agency Type Approved display solutions to suit all types of electronic road sign applications.

 

 

Full Matrix LED Displays

 

This technology is suitable for a wide range of applications which are suitable for both Urban and Interurban Applications. 

A range of colour options Type Approved to EN12966 of :-

  • Single Colour (White, Amber)
  • Dual Colour MS4 Style (White/Red, Amber/Red)
  • Full Colour RGB

A range of different pixel spacing is available to suit any application (12mm,16mm, 20mm and 25mm) dependant on the speed of the road combined with the message displayed.

 

 

Character Matrix LED Displays

 

This technology is used in applications where textual information is required. This ranges from Traffic Information Displays to Car Park Guidance Displays.

A range of colour options of :-

  • White or Amber
  • Red Green, Red/ White or Red/Amber

A range of different character sizes are available to suit any application ( 105mm, 140mm, 160mm, 240mm,320mm,455mm ) dependant on the speed of the road combined with the message displayed.

 

 

Fixed Text LED Message Signs

This technology is used in applications where a single or number of fixed messages need to be displayed . Due to the design of the optical system Dambach can offer bespoke solutions to suit any application.

Typical Applications for this type of display are :-

  • Speed and Hazard Warning Signs
  • Low Bridge OVD Warning Signs
  • Car Park Spaces/ Full Displays
  • School Crossing

The displays can be produced in any character size.

 

 

Rotating Prism

This technology is typically used for diversion routes, road closure warning or Pedestrian Zones.

A range of prism sizes (100mm, 150mmm and 200mm) allows the ability to produce signs for urban or interurban applications. The product range offers solution with internally illuminated prisms within an enclosure behind a polycarbonate screen or open prisms. Prisms can be presented vertically or horizontally dependant of the application.

 

 

Sign Control and Monitoring

Dambach have a scalable solution for any application from a single sign to a county wide system using the PGS Control System with industry standard open protocols such as UTMC ranging from :-

  • Control of Traffic Information Signs Full Matrix or Character Matrix (UTMC Compliant)
  • Control of Parking Guidance Sign (UTMC Compliant)
  • Control and Monitoring of Safety and Hazard Warning Signs
  • School Sign monitoring and timetable scheduling
  • OVD Low Bridge Warning Systems
  • Monitoring of Car Park Count (UTMC Compliant)
  • Vehicle Counting including classification (UTMC Compliant)
  • Queue Monitoring (UTMC Compliant)

The PGS Control System has a range of adaptors to interface to UTMC common databases and also interface with Parking Payment Systems to gather vehicle count information.

Dambach has a range of detection solutions which can be integrated either into signs or control systems:-

  • Car Park Monitoring using inductive loops, ceiling mounted sensors, single space sensors for internal or external car parks.
